Hey Babe

Today we spent the day enjoying Hunter being home from school and telling us all about his adventures. It was so wonderful to see him excited and full of dreams for the future. Since it is a four-hour drive, we offered to bring home his friend Misty who does not live far from us. She has been a part of our lives for a long time.

We were all gathered in the living room and Misty kept saying babe, we would look around at each other with questioning looks. Babe this and babe that. After a while she says Hey babe and Hunter goes what?

Oh my god, he is the BABE! I wished I had gotten to take a picture of Christy’s face! It was priceless, the baby had now become BABE!

Of course, when she finally left, we kept teasing him about having a girlfriend and we decided that Babe would be his new name!

Today I am grateful for crushes and the big smile every time we call Hunter babe!
