I See You

I went to the doctor today, and it ended up being such a funny day. I was sitting in the waiting room and a gentleman a few rows over, yes, the waiting room was huge it houses several waiting areas for different doctors. I am sitting quietly listening intently to hear my name over all the chatter. I begin looking around and see that gentleman again and I could not help myself. I busted out laughing, so much so I could not stop. I had tears running down my cheeks before I finally gathered myself. Everyone was looking at me as if I had lost my mind, I just smiled. I never explained myself I just kept this wonderful moment to myself until now.

I was looking around an noticed a man who reminded me of my brother-in-law, bald, wearing dark sunglasses and sporting a beard. He was nice looking and had a nice smile. He finally checked in and found a seat and I went back to looking out the window. I noticed he took his glasses off. When I looked back later, he had put his glasses on backwards. It looked like the man was sitting backwards in the chair looking at you only this face did not have a nose or mouth. I could not help myself I busted out laughing.

Best thing I have seen in a long time, I thought about taking a picture but decided not to. I could not wait to get home to tell the kiddos about this.

Today I am grateful for sunglasses and the simple joy of laughter they may bring.
