Third Time Is A Charm

I have always heard the third time's a charm, wondering if that will be the case in this circumstance.
Doubtful since I give up!

You see several weeks ago I ordered a floral arrangement that was designed to look like a Christmas tree! Perfect for the those of us that have grown children and no longer go to the trouble to put up a tree for Christmas.

A tabletop tree made of gorgeous flowers, I thought was the perfect solution!
Easy enough right? Apparently not!

This is the beautiful arrangement I ordered, and I picked the BEST selection in order to ensure it would be perfect! It's gorgeous, right!

I was so excited and couldn't wait for her to receive it! Imagine my surprise when she texted me thanking me for the beautiful flowers! I was a little stunned, to say the least when she sent me this picture! But...she loved them!
I debated what to do and finally decided to call the company and say although the flowers are stunning I felt deceived in my purchase. It wasn't about the quality of the product because they are beautiful but I was disappointed. The lady agreed with me and said that she would contact a florist to send EXACTLY what I ordered. I told her that I would pay for the next delivery and she said no way!
So we decided to have them delivered on the 15th. So once again I got a text from my sister, not too happy that I have sent her TWO flower arrangements, are you nuts? Why yes I am, to be honest! So imagine my shock when this picture was texted to me! I was like ARE YOU JOKING!

All I could do was laugh to be honest because at this point it's beyond ridiculous!  So not to be in the doghouse I explained to my sister what was going on and told her at this rate I would probably be doing the 12 days of Christmas with her!
To be honest it was so worth it because we had a wonderful time laughing and giggling over this.
So, in the end, I was happy, she was happy that she had flowers for her home and office! Who wouldn't be happy about that!

Around 5 or so my phone rang and it was the nice lady that I had spoken with about my order a few weeks, to say I was surprised is an understatement.
She had just received confirmation of the delivery of the "correct" arrangement and wanted to touch base with me.
She was so excited that I almost fibbed to her but as a business representative,  I felt she needed to know how her company was being represented by local florist they commissioned to do the work. To say she was shocked is an understatement to be sure! She was so disappointed on my behalf but the truth was I was angry on her company's behalf. I told her that I was upset they had done that to her company.
The sad thing is society forgets a company is at the mercy of their employees, You pay someone to do a certain job and trust them to do so and you are held accountable for their actions.

I assured her I was happy and would be a returning customer. She said WHAT? I said, of course, the product was beautiful and the customer service is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! She was shocked, so we had a good laugh over this and I told her please don't send any more arrangements because hell you may go bankrupt at this rate trying to get them to do it right.

Today I am grateful for mishaps that brings laughter to my sister and I and gave me a chance to let a person who deals with only complaints in her company learn some people really understand. I hope to be able to speak with Krystal again one day, maybe on the next attempt? You know what they say third time's a charm!
