Almost every single day for approximately 2532 days straight I have talked to Peggy at least once a day.
Today I was prepared not to talk to her for several days due to the fact she was having a very serious major surgery that would last about 11 to 12 hours long.
Imagine my shock when the phone rang and I heard a very scratchy but familiar voice on the phone.
I was like OH MY GOSH what the F***!
She laughed and said hey girl! I asked her how are you feeling, I know dumb right but her response was as silly, "A little sore!" Duh, you think?
It's amazing how close you can become to someone you have never physically met before.
I was so relieved and happy to hear her voice.
I told her you are one tuff lady, now hang up and behave so you can get well!
Today I am grateful for simple but amazing phone calls between friends.
