Holiday Tradition

Text message alerts me that the package is delivered.
Twenty minutes all mailboxes and areas checked result with NO PACKAGE!
I tried contacting the Post office but they are closed, well why the hell you trying to deliver packages and not be available to answer questions!

So this left me in a funk all day because this was a special gift for my daughter, something I KNOW she would LOVE and not have!
Sighs...

But today is our new Holiday tradition, Christmas Light Tours by limo!

I am using a new company this year and have reserved a hummer.

Oh my gosh that thing is HUGE!

I was expecting four more children to go with us, but they were unable to go.

So we had this huge hummer all to our selves!

It was wonderful, we went to the River Oaks and then to the house of Pies...

This is going to be MY Christmas gift to myself for the remainder of my life, I love this, I wish I could have afforded to do this many years ago but so grateful to be able to now.

I love this time...watching my daughter and kiddos laugh and be silly and free for a moment in time of worries and troubles of life.

One thing I learned this old woman is not cut out to get out of a hummer, but thank God I didn't break anything but I did hurt myself in many places. But it was so worth it!

Today I am grateful for new family traditions, for family and for the honor of being able to do this.
