Quilted Potholders
I was also blessed enough to visit with my nephew, which I
wasn't expecting. It was so wonderful to see him and my brother n law. I stayed
for several hours and bless their hearts they put up with me for that amount of
time!
She has two beautiful rottweilers that I just adore and who
are sweet as sugar. She also has a golden retriever mix who is terrified of
everyone. I have seen her about 5 times and have never managed to convince her
to stay in the room. She always goes and hides.
Today as I was kissing on the two other dogs, I noticed her
in the corner of my eye. I managed to convince her to get close enough for me
to barely touch her nose. After a little while, she allowed me the honor of
actually petting her, it brought tears to my eyes to have finally won her
trust. When she walked away she did a little high step dance, my sister in law
informed me that is her HAPPY dance.
I promise you if I could have managed that I would have
also, my heart was so filled with joy being able to win that baby's trust.
After leaving I stopped at Wal Mart and ran into Jim, a good
friend of mine, we visited for a moment, and I sent my love to Karly.
Today I am grateful for the beautiful gifts that Marlene
made me, I am grateful that Casper trusted me, I am grateful to have seen Jim.
I am most grateful for a day filled with joy. |
