The Faces of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Today is the 6th year anniversary of The Faces of Ankylosing Spondylitis.

This has been one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.

There are no words in the human language to express what is in my heart when it comes to this project or the AS community.

So many times I reflect back on the day I decided to end my life.

And never have I been so grateful as I am at this moment in my life, that I am here.

I am grateful to be living a life that I was meant to live.
I am grateful to be loving people I was meant to love.

I am grateful beyond words to those wonderful brave people who trusted me with their truth.

Today I am grateful that you had the courage to trust and believe in me.
