Sunday is a day society has assigned to be a day of rest….
For me, it was a day filled with purpose.
I went to the Academy Sporting Good Store in Missouri City, Texas…
I was on a mission.
It didn’t take long to find what I was looking for and check out.
My purchase of the day.
Two life rafts designed to hold four people each.
They now sit proudly beside the seven life vest and the ten dog life vest in my garage.
I intend to keep them in my garage in full sight always never to be stored away.
A reminder of sorts that I am blessed to still be here and to never forget how cruel mother nature can be.
Today I am grateful to be able to buy these items that give me a sense of relief, knowing that they are there if I ever need them and praying I never will.
