Made With Love

Today was cruel, I watched car after car be towed away, my heart breaking a little more each time one was hauled away.

My 2009 Hemi Daytona charger was one of 1500 made with only 50,000 miles was going to the junk yard in the sky. I cried like my heart had been broken, because it had.

But I was relieved in a way to watch them leave  because the reminders are slowly being taken away one by one and hopefully life will fall into a new normal.

And day by day, the hurt is being replaced with gratefulness. At least that is what I am trying to do.

This day was long, grueling and just plain hard.

I received a package in the mail, thinking it was the seven life vests I ordered, I didn't open it.
Later that evening when I was settled in for the night, I decided to open it. It wasn't the vest, and I had no clue what it could be.

It was a box made with love from New Jersey.

It was filled with items she made by hand JUST for me, made with love.
You see I used to make homemade gifts, so I know the love, thought and work that goes into something that is made just for you.

It was overwhelming.

The card and words were beautiful and so loving.

Today I am so grateful for that beautiful soul gifts handmade with love.
