No End In Sight

Four days...

Four days of fear...

Four days of devastation...

Four days of relief...

Four days of despair...

Four days of hope...

Four days of gratitude...

Four days of hopelessness...

Four days of trying to make the right choices...

Four days of people comforting you....

Four days of you comforting people...

Four days of each...

Four days of repeat...

Four days of pause....

Four days of over and over...

I really don't know how to put into words what these past four days have been like...
I woke up today relieved and grateful....
Everyone was safe and no extra damage other than what we have already sustained.

Today there is no end in sight...
News alerts, flash floods, tornado warnings, rain storms, repeat pause repeat...
Four days and no end in sight...
Mandatory evacuations ordered, where do you go, how do you manage to get there?
Four days... my blessing of the day... my family at this moment in time is safe... and I am able to have a moment of normalcy and add to my garden of gratitude...

Prayers, good will and love being sent out to the world and to the human race... because when it is all said and done that is all that really matters in our lives.

The love between family, friends, and strangers..... is there anything greater?

Today I am just grateful.
