I can not believe I pulled it off, several months ago I rented Coca Cola section at the Minute Maid Park for all of us to go see the Houston Astros, you see we have the biggest Astro’s fan in the world in our family, several to be honest. Austin and Amanda run neck in neck, but Austin will tell you with very strong conviction HE IS THE BIGGEST ASTRO FAN IN HISTORY! It was amazing to watch a little boy’s dream come true and the happiness that filled him. These incredible children have not had a kind life so many tragic events have shaped them. I can not tell you how many times I laughed watching them cheer, each of them was so excited to be here. I hope today carries them for years to come. We laughed till our tummies hurt, we cheered till we lost our voices, we ate till we were all about to pop and it was AMAZING! I hope to be able to make this a new tradition but if I am unable to, I am grateful to have been able to do it today. It was so amazing shutting the world out and just being present in the moment all of us just enjoying each other. Man there are no words to describe today.
We all took credit for the Astros winning the game of course.
Today I am so grateful to be able to make dreams come true,
but I am more grateful for young men who take you aside and tell you how
grateful they are that you did this for all of them. What a blessing these
people have been in my life. I asked Austin did Nanny score a homerun, he grabbed me and hugged me tight and said Nanny you knocked that ball out of the park!
