Bravery

My heart is breaking and excited at the same time, Hunter leaves for Austin, Texas today. It is one of the best places for blind people to learn to be independent. I remember the day we took that small little boy there and was so amazed of how much he had changed when he got home. It does not matter that he is a grown man he will always be Nanny’s little boy. He is the bravest and most strong willed person I have ever met. I love him so much.

Today I am so grateful for the wonderful nurses at Clear Lake NICU and for such a courageous and determined daughter who fought to keep this wonderful human being alive and healthy.
