So It Continues

Many years ago, my grandson Hunter came up with an amazing idea for a book series. It was incredible and we were all on board! I still have all the information sadly enough life and tragedies got in the way. I gently ask him time to time if he plans to write it, he always says yes one day. I hope so he is an incredible storyteller.

This evening he called me, and he was so excited, made my heart so happy. He said he had a secret to share with me and I was all ears! He said I am working on a project Nanny. He shared with me he was writing a series of children’s stories. I listened quietly my mind wandering back to the day he was born and everyday since then. It was overwhelming to say the least to think of what this amazing young man has gone through in his lifetime.

He told me the story was going to be about their pets, 3 dogs, 3 cats and a Russian tortoise. I couldn’t help smiling, this makes my heart so happy.

He is going to write a story about Boris the Russian tortoise. I thought it adorable, so I asked him what it was going to be about. Then he shared his idea for the first story and was stunned.

His first story will be called Boris and The Garden of Gratitude.

It was Hunter who inspired me to start writing the Garden of Gratitude again.

Today I am so grateful for this wonderful human being who has taught me to find gratitude even during the hardest times and for that I will be forever indebted to him.
