Nurse Ratched

My daughter called me to tell me she had begun her treatments today; my granddaughter will be giving her the shots daily. She said Taylor did an amazing job and did not even hurt her! I said you know that is every kid’s dream is to give their mom a shot that hurts. She laughs and says yeah right. I am thinking now wait a minute! We have our own little Nurse Ratched. 

During our conversation she informs me I was on speaker phone. I talk very loud due to being hard of hearing. I said Well it is a good thing I do not talk bad about the kids. Bionic ears Taylor said what would you have to say bad about me? I said give me a minute I will have to think about it.

I love that kid; I love them all so much. They have no idea how much I love them. I thank God every day for blessing me with such beautiful, crazy, kind people to love.

They are so much fun to be around. 

They amaze and inspire me to be courageous and continue.

If not for them….

Today I am grateful to have been able to go through life with these wonderful people I get to call family!
