Kindness

We are getting so excited for our mini vacation to Freeport, this will be our first “practice” adventure in the motorhome. We are hoping to go places and just experience nature at its best. The girls are coming over so we can all “Nair” our legs and get bathing suit ready. I know an old disabled fat woman should not worry about a little leg hair, but I am still a woman who wants to look her best. It will be scary enough for everyone I am in a bathing suit, the hair may send them all running!

I was so humbled by the kindness my girls showed me. Bless her heart my daughter got down on her knees and lathered me up and then she did Taylor. We had such a fun silly time! It was so wonderful just being lighthearted and silly today, that is a luxury our lives have not afforded us often.

I got you are the best nanny; everyone was impressed at how I had set up the motorhome and all the cool things I got us to enjoy ourselves. I am hoping that this weekend surrounded by love and laughter away from the world will be good for all of us.

After the girls left, I spent the day packing, we are leaving tomorrow! I asked each of the kiddos what they are looking forward to the most. Each said just spending time laughing and being together. I have decided we are not going to be weekend warriors but weekly doers. I want them to be able to let go of all the sadness, and trauma they have endured, and I am praying that this motorhome may be the key.

Today I am overwhelmed with so many emotions, so much gratitude for the blessings of my life and grateful more than anyone could ever put into words, for my little family. I hope they have some idea how much I love and adore them.
