I Sail The Seas
In a sea of chaos,
In a sea of churn.
I sail a ship so boldly,
Tailwind at my stern.
Winds gallop wildly,
Against my strong dull hull.
Tossing, turning, breaking,
Scattering seagulls.
Waves cresting skyward,
Towering sails at nigh.
Moonlight guides me onward,
Wakes behind me goodbye.
This ship I sail so gallantly,
Across oceans of stars and light.
Across waters of this earth,
And beyond into broad twilight.
Sail ye’ onward Captain,
Captain of time and space.
Sail the oceans unafraid,
Of unique time and place.
Only but a ripple remains,
As we all but disappear.
Into oceans and beyond,
Into year after year.
