Ripley's Believe It Or Not

Yes, it has been that kind of a day! Have you ever had a day that you wished you hadn’t gotten out of bed? Well, today is that kind of a day!
Go get yourself something to drink and get ready to say Oh my God, are you kidding me!
My day started around 4:00 A.M. with severe leg cramps, so I got up and soaked in the tub and started my day.
When I let the dogs out this morning I noticed a middle-aged woman walking down my street, she looks like the lady that just moved in down the street.
Ronnie called me after he left for work and said that she walked right out in front of him in the street, screaming and for me to be careful if I leave the house.
I go outside and can see her walking in the street, I keep a watchful eye on her and begin my day.
I need to stock up on groceries so I go through the cabinets and make a detailed grocery list.
So, I get everything ready and head off to Kroger’s, noting that the woman in question is nowhere to be seen.
I manage to drop a glass jar of pickles and get a little cut on my toe. I wear sandals year-round due to Ankylosing Spondylitis.
I end up buying more stuff than planned and make my way to the car only to discover I have locked myself out.
Luckily the side door wasn’t locked but I have that famous gate in between the front and back. A very nice young man played knight in shining armor for me and rescued me.
I made it home safe and sound no sign of the woman in question.
I decided to make homemade chili today as while I was cooking three pounds of ground chuck, the stove quit working! I can’t believe this I am out of propane! I make a call to Ronnie and he says he will be here in about two hours, so I put the half-cooked meat in the refrigerator and wait.
He calls and I open the gate to let him in, a little while later the dogs start raising cane and I hear voices.

While the gate was open a strange lady came in with a 3-4 -foot limb off a tree, threatening and swinging it at him, saying she knows we have her son locked up and kidnapped in our home. Obviously, she is mentally ill, I ended up calling 911, while on the phone with dispatch she threatens me and pretends to pull out a gun, loads it, locks it on me takes aim and fires, all the while screaming she is going to kill me. We have no idea who she is. She proceeds to keep taking aim and shooting at me with her hands, walking back and forth until cops come. I don't know if she is armed or not but has a big black pack back on. They deal with her telling her to go home as she continues to scream she is going to kill us because we have her son locked up. She finally goes home, he comes up to speak to me and I watch her watch me through the cracked back door. Finally they leave and I go back upstairs only to get stranded on my elevator, it just stopped! I call Ronnie to come "rescue" me and about 45 minutes later Ronnie is back but finds it so amusing  he begins to laugh and then JUST leaves me there for fun, finally, he stops laughing and fixes the problem. I go into the house to find Wallie having seizures and the whole living room floor covered in throw up. I get the situation under control and an hour later my dogs are raising hell again and she is back pacing my fence line, quietly this time. I later look outside only to find her burning things in her yard. Finally, darkness comes and all is calm. It has been a very stressful, unnerving, heartbreaking and frightening all at once kind of a day.
Hopefully, they will take her and help her get the mental help she so desperately needs..
How was your day?
Oh, and the CHILI was fantastic even if I say so myself!

Today I am grateful that everyone involved in this day was kept safe, especially her.
