We're The Reason

The Houston Astros made it to the world series and we are the reason!

We had the honor and privilege of going to a Houston Astros game earlier this year. 

During the game my grandson Austin told me, You know if the Astros go to the world series you will have to get me tickets!

I of course being the Nanny that I am said okay... knowing it was very unlikely they would since the last time was in 2005. So I felt fairly safe in saying you got it.

Now I feel horrible because I just spent the last few hours trying to get tickets to the WORLD SERIES realizing I just can't afford what was available. 

He understands and says that he never thought I would honestly try to do this, or there would be tickets available. But he loves me so much because I tried so hard.

But the HOUSTON ASTROS are going to the WORLD SERIES!

And you want to know why?

Because I said YOU got to go to their game this year! You are there good luck charm! He busted out laughing!

So Houston you can thank us for this monumental moment! 

All kidding aside, congratulations Astros! Good luck on your win!

Today I am grateful for a young man's dream of wanting HIS TEAM to make it to the world series coming true!
