Eight

When you have a life that is filled with traumatic events and tragedies it is beyond difficult to have a positive outlook on life. We do our best to look for the positives and to find gratitude but Lord it is hard!

I was having a conversation with my granddaughter about someone who is not always kind to her. In my wisdom I said you know that one out of every ten people are just, hmm well not kind people. She sits for a moment and responds to me yep that is true but at least nine out of ten are wonderful people.

Wow what a positive twist on that, I have always seen it as one out of ten, not nine out of ten.

Today I am grateful for a little girl’s wisdom to show me the positive side of life, that there is eight out of ten more kind people in the world!
