Not AS It Seems

I used to get upset when people said you have no clue how hard life can be, now I take it as a compliment because the positive side of my struggles is the reflection of me that I want the world to see. But sometimes I want to say YOU HAVE NO CLUE what I have been through. Job well done Cookie, many thanks to the person who reminded me how well I am thriving in a life that would destroy lesser people.

I have had many tragic and traumatic events in my life that reminds me to remember life is not always as it seems. You have no idea what is behind that smile you see, or the angry face or the tears rolling down the check.

Today I am grateful for life lessons that have taught me to be compassionate and kind.
