Today we say goodbye to Michael Smith who was the very first person I ever spoke to on the online Ankylosing Spondylitis community. He was so brilliant, and such a warrior. He was our founder on Spondylitis Awareness Month, he created so much that it would take years to tell you everything about his work.
He was Faces of AS 0405 and the reason I am working on collecting 2700 Faces.
He will be forever missed and loved.

Today I am grateful for your friendship but most of all for believing in me and caring enough to say, “You’re going to be okay, Cookie, you wait and see.”
