I hate grocery shopping with a passion! I struggle to push the basket, walk the distance, load and unload groceries but most of all trying to reach up to get the items I need. I think the universe hates me sometimes because it seems everything I need is always on the top shelf. But one of the greatest things about grocery shopping is experience genuine compassion and kindness from total strangers.
I met the sweetest, kindest man at Kroger's today named Mitch. I was struggling to reach something and he just reached up there and grabbed it and said here you go "little" lady. We talked for a while. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO ASK HIM!
He was such a kind man, really touched me. #MitchyouaremyASHerofortheday
Today I am grateful for the Mitch's in the world who do not wait to be asked but just helps because his heart tells him to and he listens to his heart.
