Something has been bothering me for a while now. Why didn’t they have my back? Because I sure had theirs. I’ve had their back for years. Then it dawned on me bright as the sun shining. It had nothing to do with me, or who I am friends with or what I was doing or not doing. It was simply due to the fact I didn’t “pay” them to have my back. Sometimes the things done out of one’s heart means more than the dollar you send. One day they will realize just what they have lost.
Today I am grateful to know in my heart that realization will not change the way I have their back, here is to moving forward.
