No Words

I am so heartbroken after the phone call that I just received. I do not think I will ever forget the pain I heard in her sobs. My friend Shirley called to let me know that her daughter and two grandchildren were killed in a head on collision. I just sat there listening to her, having no words to offer her, what is there I can say that would help her. I sat quietly for hours till her voice quietened. I asked her if she had someone with her, she said her sister was on her way. I told her I would stay on the phone until she arrives.

Rest in peace, Mary 29, Sally 5, and Alice 2.

Today I am grateful that I was able to comfort her during this horrible time in her life. Tomorrow is not promised nor is today, love LOUD, forgive quickly, and enjoy this moment.
