A Mother's Love

I received a card in the mail today, it has a beautiful peacock on the front in all the beautiful colors that I love. I had to start over reading this card several times due to tears of emotion that flooded my eyes. This card was not from a person who has AS but she does suffer from AS, because someone she loves, her son has AS. She wrote me a beautiful heartfelt letter of appreciation and gratitude inside this beautiful card telling me how her son means the world to her. I could feel her as I read it, her kindness wrapped around my soul as I absorbed her words. Thank you so much for this beautiful and loving gift, I will be forever grateful for this. I think your son, Steve is an amazing man, and I am honored to call him my friend. He inspires me with the work that he does, and is one of my heros.
