Birthday Wishes

Yesterday I decided to do a project for my birthday. I want to set up a go fund me page to raise $2700.00 in honor of the Faces of AS and donate it to the SAA. The idea is instead of birthday gifts people will donate to the cause. I was talking about it to the kiddos, and they all seemed excited and on board.

Today I got it all set up and have received two donations. Then later today I went to visit the kids and they were so excited about it. After a while they told me they had something important to share with me about the project.

About two hours later I received a phone call from the kids. And I must brag about something that has humbled me to the core, my grandchildren have donated. They all took birthday money they have been saving and donated every single penny.

When I said why on earth did you all do that, they said because you taught us for everything we give and kind deed we do, our lives are blessed for it and if our lives are not blessed for it, our souls are for doing it. 

That is worth every single pain, pain pill, surgery, and battle that AS has brought to me. That one moment was worth it. (The amount donated was $300.00) I am so proud of the amazing human beings these children are becoming. I can not wait to see what they do in the future.

Today I am so grateful for these generous kind amazing kids, who I get the honor of being their Nanny.
